Newsflash

You probably noticed we now have a "Random Image" displayed on the front page of the SPORTRC web site.  For those that havent figured it out yet, the images are random images taken from all the images our users upload to the Forums.  So, if you upload in image in one of your posts then chances are it will appear in the random image box on the front page of the site.  I think this is a great way for people to get a snapshop (excuse the pun) of what our hobby is all about.  Keep posting your pics so we have a really good cross section of what we are all about.  Another tip would be to post pics of people... people having fun.  That's what any hobby is about, putting smiles on peoples dials and having fun.  If you have a great pic of people, a vehicle or a ripper bingle get posting we really need your support.

Essex Park BMX Track - Another council built BMX track for the kids in the area.  This is another track that's scaled well to R/C vehicles, giving good visabillity to your vehicle from nearly every part of the track.  It's slightly wider than the track at Eumemmerring Park which should make for better racing.  The only drawback for this track is that it does not form a single continuous loop so it's only good for start to finish sprints unless you want to bend the rules and take a shortcut accross the grass and back to the start.  Definatly well worth popping down to have a bash with your toys.

Ettiquete:  This is a public area so there are no specific rules other than common sence.  We do urge you to always think about safety though.  There may be other reserve users about and you need to be aware that they may get in the way of your high speed vehicle.  We suggest you speak with any by-standers and let them know to keep thier distance.

Click here fora Google Map of the area.
